From 7-11 September the international home design and interior fair Maison et Objet is taking place in Paris. It’s one of the biggest international design trade fairs with more than 200 exhibitors ranging from furniture, to bed and bath accessories and other trends for the coming season. And from 10-16 September it’s Paris Design Week. Therefore, I’m introducing the “We’ll always have Paris-week” on 30s Magazine, with nothing but great finds and tips connected to the city of lights. Because, who doesn’t love Paris?
I’m starting my week of Paris finds with the beautiful tableware collection Joli Paris by Gien. It depicts famous Paris sights, boutiques, monuments and cafes, among them the Champs Elysées, Notre Dame, Moulin Rouge and the Eiffel Tower. The dessert dishes alone can boast six different designs. But my favourites are by far the plates with illustrations of fashionable mannequins strutting the catwalk. Très chique!
