Sustainable designs are on the rise. More and more people are looking for home accessories and furniture that is produced in a sustainable way taking into account the environment and our health. That is why I love the home interior shop Van Binnen in Rotterdam. Their assortment consists of high quality, sustainable and durable products that are aesthetic and on trend. Think wooden furniture and floors made of wood of controlled forests, or natural paint. Tableware made of PLA which is a kind of plastic made of sugar, or textiles that are dyed naturally. It is astonishing how much pretty you can produce in a sustainable way. The shop is filled with wanna haves, so if you are visiting Rotterdam, it is definitely worth a visit.
