Camel Comeback

One piece that shouldn’t lack in any woman’s wardrobe this autumn is a camel item. Last year we already saw the come back of the neutral hue, mostly turning up as camel capes and coats. It showed that neutrals are not so boring after all. Harking back to the 90s à la Jill Sander minimalism, camel stands for timeless elegance, class and style. The hue is perfect to mix and match; style it with black, white or navy for a classic and chic style. Combine it with vibrant pink, orange or jade green for a modern and playful look.

NAN camel wrap dress

My camel wrap dress from NAN is a perfect pre-fall piece as it is a versatile piece that basically goes with everything. It is classy enough for the office and business meetings, yet also sexy and feminine. For women with curves, like me, a wrap dress is probably the most flattering dress to own as it follows your curves and shows off your waistline. It draws attention to your strong points like your cleavage and curves, but in a subtle way.

How to accessorize

To keep my look classic and chic I paired the wrap dress with accents that are also elegant and not too overbearing. I’m wearing camel Moschino peep-toe heels, combined with an oversized snake leather bag. My jewelry is also kept minimalist: a Calvin Klein rose gold, round necklace. The real eye-catcher that adds a bit of fun and edge to the look, is my pair of shades by Swatch with a black and white pattern.
