Before going to Valencia, I researched the places I shouldn’t miss once there. On every blog, and in every magazine, I read about this place called Dulce de Leche. So it was with high expectations that I cycled to neighbourhood Ruzafa. The Ruzafa area is a trendy and upcoming neighbourhood with lots of coffee and lunch places, and independent boutiques. After passing the super cool lifestyle store Gnomo, I spotted Dulce de Leche from afar because of its outside corner terrace that was full of people chatting over lunch and mouthwatering pastries with tea. This could only get better…
The smell of freshly baked cake lures you in. Dulce de Leche is boasting with cakes, muffins, sandwiches, quiches, and cookies. I had a very hard time choosing, but eventually opted for a raspberry muffin. The following day I went back for their breakfast platter that consisted of homemade granola with fruits and yogurt, fresh orange juice, pie with salmon, a mini-croissant, and coffee. This is truly a place you do not want to miss!
