When you say Bandol, you say rosé wine. Bandol is the capital of the most prestigious French wines and especially French rosé. The Bandol wineries region, La Cadière-d’Azur, is the only wine region in the world that is dominated by the Mourvèdre grapes. During my latest trip to the Côte d'Azur I stayed in one of the most charming hotels I have ever stayed in. Hôtel Le Delos is located on the tiny island Bendor, 5 minutes ferry trip off the coast of Bandol's harbour.
