Crete Travel Diary: Roadtrip to Elafonisi Lagoon and Beach


On my first day in Chania Crete, I went on a road trip to the South-west of the island, to explore the lagoon and beach Elafonisi. The drive from my hotel took about 1.5-2 hours despite it being only 50 km. Reason is that you have to drive through the mountains and small idyllic Greek villages. Yesterday I explored the old town of Chania. It's beautiful and I took so many photos. The city is full of history and historical architecture. Chania old town is also boasting with taverns, bars, and eateries.
