Green Easter Styling

It’s March 20th, the first official day of spring! And in only a few more weeks it is Easter again. Time really flies, doesn’t it? Today it is also time for another urban jungle bloggers challenge. Just to refresh your memory: the urban jungle blogger challenge is a monthly assignment, and blogger movement, embraced by bloggers around the globe, to incorporate more green plants in our interior styling. Initiators of this fun monthly challenge are German blogger Igor and Dutch, Paris-based blogger Judith. This month the assignment was to use green plants when styling for spring or Easter. I decided to inspire you with an Easter table top styling using plants.

I thought it would be nice to give all of my Easter brunch guests an egg-shaped terrarium with a plant. Attached is a handmade tag I crafted. On the gift tag you can write a short message, an inspirational quote, or a wish. But you can also just write down a guest’s name, and use the gift as a seating card. That way you hit two birds with one stone. It is even more fun and visually attractive if you use different plants for each guest, e.g. for females plants with pink, and for the males a sturdy green one.

Instead of one centerpiece, I used several cloches with underneath a tumbler with a small plant and larger egg-shaped terrariums with colorful plants. Try to find plants that fit into your colour scheme and the atmosphere you would like to create.
