After decorating the house it’s time to start wrapping gifts and thinking about the Christmas menu and table setting. This year I think I’m going for a shiny and glamourous look with metallics. Last year I created two opposing looks: an Audrey Hepburn inspired table, but also a rustic-chic one for brunch. The rustic-chic table setting was never shared completely so I would love to show it to you today to inspire you to create your own. Rustic-chic has a lot of wooden, winter lodge details, but is mixed with chic accessories and a calming colour palette to take out the rough edges.
What I love to do in all my table settings is adding DIY projects. Small details make a table scape personal and interesting. I usually opt for a DIY napkin ring and name place card. I also love to add in natural pieces and flowers, but try to avoid a huge floral centerpiece.
