Dolce & Gabbana Panettone by Fiasconaro

Dolce & Gabbana teamed up with the renowned Sicilian pastry shop Fiasconaro and created a collection of Limited Edition Panettones.

If you’re looking for an original and delicious gift, look no further because I found it! Dolce & Gabbana teamed up with the renowned Sicilian pastry shop Fiasconaro and created a collection of Limited Edition Panettones. The Panettone is the quintessential Christmas bread in Italy.  The sweet bread is a popular dessert but can also be served for breakfast or coffee. Traditionally, it’s made with candied fruits, like orange peel, raisins and almonds.  Nowadays there are many variations, with chocolate, chestnuts, pistachio nuts or infused in liquor. Serve it with a sweet dessert wine and savor the taste of Christmas!

Sicilian pastry shop Fiasconaro revisted the traditional Milanese recipe and created artisanal panettones that are fluffy and rich with flavours that transport you to the charming Italian island. It’s enriched with soft candied orange and cedar, all strictly of Sicilian origin. But the real unique and special touch in this Panettone collection is the addition of one of the symbols of the Marsala wine tradition, the Perpetuo Vecchio Samperi di Sicilia wine.

Sizes and flavours

There are different sizes available (100 gr, 500 gr and 1 kg) and the flavours are all unique:

  • Sicilian Pistachio panettone covered in white chocolate (with a velvety Pistachio cream in a special jar)
  • Sicilian Citrus fruits and Saffron
  • Candied Chestnuts and Gianduja, a chocolate hazelnut paste
  • The traditional panettone with an extra spray bottle of Sicilian Vecchio Samperi Perpetual Wine

For the real sweet tooth the collection of panettone can be enriched with three different flavours of spreadable creams : pistachio, almond, and chocolate cream.

What makes these Panettones even more desirable is ofcourse the packaging by Dolce & Gabbana.  The tins are eclectic and colorful in their signature style and inspired by Sicily. The decorative motifs of Sicilian carts and the characters of the traditional puppet theatres are beautifuly illustrated on the boxes and tins, making them real collectors items. And even the gift bag is a keeper with gorgeous illustrations on the sides.

I can’t wait to unwrap it and take a bite of my Panettone with Candied Chestnuts and Gianduja!
