Last week we got shaken up by the terrible news that a few members of the Missoni family we’re in a plane crash. Among the passengers was Vittorio Missoni, director of Italy’s famed Missoni fashion house. I’m a big fan of Missoni’s designs. A while ago I discovered a furniture brand that uses a.o. Missoni fabrics for their sofas. Roche Bobois.
Roche Bobois blends traditional craftsmanship and the charming designs of the past with very contemporary aesthetics and eclecticism. The result is furniture and
accessories with originality, wit and style. It’s daring and unique in shape, details and colour combinations. All their sofas can be customized, in shape, size and texture.
The Mah Jong sofa is a design by Hans Hopfer. It’s a modular sofa you can assemble, superimpose and juxtapose endlessly, creating sectionals, straight sofas and sofa-beds.
RYTHME 3-seat modular sofa is a Design by Studio Missoni Home. The sofa is upholstered in Missoni Home fabrics for Roche Bobois. The modular pieces are in foam, with wood legs in black stain. Great design for someone who likes change and isn’t afraid of popping colours and bold prints.
I just love how this antique looking Atelier Dining table with a solid oak structure, and with a top in cherry wood veneer is combined with the modern and popping carpet and wallpaper.
I’m smitten by these black and white Kobe chairs reinterpreting classical styles with modern charm.
