Shop your heart out at: The Sixtine

I first spotted the shop The Sixtine at the Dutch furniture fair, and couldn’t pull myself away from the booth. Finally, I thought. I had been looking for a shop with this kind of style for so long: the style of my favourite interior designers Jonathan Adler and Kelly Wearstler. In the United States they have so many, yet in the Netherlands I couldn’t find the Chinese stools, or dramatic round mirrors. But now we have The Sixtine.

Funny thing is that they have 3 brands I already mentioned on 30s Magazine before; the Chhatwall & Jonsson ikat pillows, Framed feathers, and the Momiq chairs. And here you have it all in one shop! It is a style that’ll speak in particular to people like myself who love to travel and who wish to reflect their wanderlust in their home in an elegant and sophisticated way. The accessories are colourful and sourced from around the globe. Framed feathers take you to the native Americans, while the Kambala blankets from India brighten up your couch. And for the real globetrotter there is even a trompe l’oeil wall sticker showing you directions. http://www.thesixtine.com/
