If you’re following me on instagram you might have noticed that I’ve been spending a lot of time at the beach lately. I’m seizing every sunny day to work on my tan, for as long as it lasts. Although the past four days have been cooler, they forecast yet another warm front by the end of this week. Let’s hope they are right because I just can’t get enough of this late summer treat we are experiencing. Laying on the beach in my bikini in September is something I could get used to, and I don’t mind doing it in October as well. I recently swapped my favourite hang out Beach Club O for another cool and relaxed hot spot: Beach club Branding. I just needed a change of scenery, and I love the food at Branding!
Beach club Branding evokes a feeling of a beach club in Ibiza or Mykonos. In fact, the interior kind of has the same atmosphere as the San Giorgio Hotel in Mykonos. It’s rustic, bohemian, with use of natural materials and an earth tones colour scheme. Relaxing lounge music and the smell of the always burning wood fire completes the experience.
It’s the perfect place to unwind and meet with friends for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Their menu fits in perfectly with the interior and the latest healthy living craze. Everything is pure, fresh and in sync with the super foods trend. For breakfast you can have yoghurt with chia seeds and granola, or eggs with gluten free bread and avocado. They serve carrot-orange juice or a detox drink with ginger, leek and cucumber. Lunch is just as healthy and scrumptious as breakfast with e.g. spinach-quinoa salad, or a spinach-ricotta burger.
The best thing about Beachclub Branding is that it never closes. On October 14 it transforms into a winter lodge so that we can still go there after a beach walk in autumn or winter for a cup of hot coco and to warm up in front of the fire place. Can’t wait to see the transformation!
