Decorating with Denim

Yesterday I visited the annual Dutch Furniture & Lifestyle Fair, the ‘Woonbeurs‘, that marks the start of the new interior design and home decor season. While I’m going through all my photos, information acquired, and trends I spotted, I thought I would share with you a few snap shots of the fair. The theme of the Woonbeurs this year is “Denim”. Denim represents back to basics. It is a fabric that unites and bridges differences. Prevalent among the many collections and inspirational homes is optimism, and diversity. You’ll see denim and moody blue colour schemes across the fair. This wall was styled by Tjitske de Ruiter, from Villa Idea, who also styled and designed the modernized farm house I photographed last year, and Nathali Meurs van NML Design.

  1. I absolutely love that the denim is set against that dark wall! Those denim cushions are cool also. xD
