Dead Clean

I recently discovered a new brand of bath and body products called Dead Clean. The name itself is already brilliant, but that I will explain later. What drew me to the products in the first place, was the packaging. The bottles, and tubes of the travelkit, are so on trend and effortlessly chic. They are matte white with different gleaming metallic splashes. What a clever choice now that copper and other mettalics are all we see and covet in our interiors. The bottles are real eye-catchers and will perk up your bathroom to the latest interior design trend. I however, tried the travelkit, perfect for my frequent city trips when I only have carry-on luggage. [continue reading after photo]

IMG_4455dead cleanThe name Dead Clean derives from the key ingredient Dead Sea salt. The water of the Dead Sea has renowned health benefits due to its high concentration of salt. It has 8.3 times more salt than other seas and contains 21 minerals. The two other distinctive elements that make these products so unique are high quality essential oils derived from naturally grown herbs, and a signature Mint Tea fragrance created by the famed French perfumer Mathieu Nardin, from Robertet in Grasse, France. The Dead Clean skin and bath products are therefore nourishing and invigourating, and when used regularly you will reap the benefits. Also they are dermatologically tested, and free of harmful ingredients.

This natural salt is rich in elements, such as Potassium, Magnesium and Bromide. The oils used in the different products are Salvia oil to improve your skin’s natural elasticity, Rosemary oil to energize your soul, and Argan oil to increase your energy. I’m a huge fan of argan oil, so I was very pleased that the hand & body cream has it as its key element. It’s a smooth cream that leaves your skin soft and smells fresh but not overbearing. The shampoo is for fresh thinkers and I also love the conditioner with rosemary oil. It made my hair soft and full but also bouncy and light. The shower wash with salvia oil is perfect to use before going to bed because it’s relaxing with a soothing herbal fragrance.

The Dead Clean products are exclusive and therefore only available in signature boutique hotels, concept stores and destination restaurants in
Amsterdam (Friday Next, Maison NL, Momo, Sir Albert Hotel, Izakaya, or via their web shop.
