Hotspot Amsterdam: Le Clair

Le Clair is permanently closed

A piece of Parisian flair in Amsterdam was just what we needed. In the IJ-passage at Central Station I discovered the Parisian chic pastry bakery Le Clair, where the French éclairs are in the lead. Comfy pink armchairs, marble bistro tables, and a French ambiance draw you in to try one of the freshly baked éclairs accompanied by a nice coffee or tea. In the glass case you can feast your eyes on éclairs in sweet flavours like: mango, white chocolate, or even in savoury flavours. And if you’re in a hurry, there is always take-out, in a pretty box with a coloured ribbon of your choice. The éclairs are freshly made throughout the day in the open kitchen.

Initiator of Le Clair is the renowned chef Robert Kranenborg. And good news, a second Le Clair is opening soon on Utrecht Central Station.
