Where to stay in Kusadasi? The Korumar Hotel De Luxe

If you are following me on instagram you couldn’t have missed that I have been travelling quite a lot lately. My latest trip was to Kusadasi in Turkey. The beautiful seaside town is a perfect base to explore Turkey’s natural and historical treasures. However, most tourists flock to this resort town to enjoy the beaches and lay by their hotel’s poolside. Either way, a nice and comfortable hotel is in my opinion a must. I was fortunate to be invited to the beautiful  five star Korumar Hotel De Luxe. The hotel perches on top of a rocky coastline with amazing vistas. Kusadasi’s marina is only a 20 minute walk, or 8 minute bus ride away.

Waking up at the Korumar Hotel de Luxe in Kusadasi is the perfect start to your day. All rooms have a breathtaking sea view and a private balcony. So you can step right out of bed on to the balcony to enjoy that first cup of coffee in total bliss.

The breakfast buffet is extensive and I loved having my fruits and pancakes on the outside terrace with views on the pool and sea.

Each morning after breakfast I went for a walk on the hotel grounds. Cobbled pathways that are lined with colorful and fragrant bushes and steps with overhanging bougainvillea lead to different sun decks dispersed on the rocks. It’s so peaceful and tranquil around the hotel that you instantly relax and forget about the office hassles at home.

All the way down at the waterside I found my favorite spot: a rustic stoned wall with a bench where you can take in the sounds of the gulfs splashing against the rocks.

And then there’s ofcourse the poolside relaxation part, because what is a resort without a great pool?
