Yesterday I had a conversation with my florist about the way the recession is also influencing his sales. Although you might think that people would buy more flowers to brighten things up (like I do), they actually buy less flowers. Apparently they see it as a luxury, which is of course true if you look at it that way, because it's not a necessity. A Blooming Easter decor: flower arrangements

Easter seems to have crept up on us rather stealthily this year. We are all absorbed with the snow and extended winter freeze.  I feel it is a bit of a damper on the festivities.
