I almost fainted when I saw the handpainted wallpaper collection. Wow! Just wow. De Gournay is a renowned wallpaper business that has beautiful chinoiseries as its signature. Aquazzura is an Italian shoe brand. The result of their collaboration is a collection of shoes and wallpaper with lush, and colorful tropical scenes. Parrots, monkeys, palm trees and other jungle vegetation are set against a pale pink background. The pink hue was inspired by the palazzo walls of Aquazzura’s Florentine headquarters.
