The kitchen is becoming a playground for children more often. Just look at the TV programme Junior Masterchef. Kids are increasingly finding their way to the kitchen counter, and Le Creuset cleverly took note of that. At the international trade fair Maison et Objet in Paris, they introduced 2 new special cook boxes for kids.
The small pastry boxes allow short gourmet chefs to make their own recipes and favourite cakes. It’s a fun way to learn about the joy of cooking and to share unforgettable family moments. Aspiring bakers who buy the kit, are equipped with a mixing bowl of 1.5 liters, a mini spatula, and 6 muffin cups. The pastry kit comes in pretty pink and boyish blue. I have to admit that the pink mixing bowl would also fit perfectly in a big girl’s kitchen for mixing small amounts of batter, whipping cream, scramble eggs, or for preparing a single’s meal.
Another debut from Le Creuset at the Maison et Objet fair, was an adorable Breakfast box for kids. Â The kit includes a solid 200 ml mug for hot chocolate or milk, a breakfast plate to have that slice of toast topped with jam, an egg cup, and a cereal bowl. Everything you need for a hearty and balanced breakfast! Again, the kit is offered in pink and blue.
