It was love at first sight when I first saw Ibride in September last year. Someone on my instagram feed visited the Maison & Objet fair in Paris and posted a picture of a wall covered with romantic blue and white plates. Once I found out the name I immediately started looking for it on the internet. It turned out to be a collection of plates and bowls of melanin that, when stacked, make up a Ming vase. The company Ibride is a collaboration between artistic director Rachel Convers, designer Benoît Convers and editor Carine Jannin. Their graphics are whimsical, romantic, with a classic nod. There are also trays and beautiful silk scarves.
