Halloween Gathering with Friends

Last night I had a small Halloween gathering with friends. Although we didn’t dress the part, I did put effort in the tablesetting and entrance. So I lit my carved pumpkin at the entrance to welcome them in a spooky way. For the tablesetting I used a black lace tablerunner, and each place setting was unique; a black skull, a bottle with blood (food coloring), and a dead rose. I used vintage cutlery that looks very old, and lots of candles to create a sinister vibe. We started with an autumnal cheese platter, followed by pumpkin soup, and butternut squash and chicken tart. It shows that it doesn’t take that much organizing to have a fun and themed Halloween dinner with friends.
