Last week I had lunch at Yeeels, a newly opened restaurant in Paris. The place consists of 2 levels. The top, street level floor is a restaurant, and the basement level is a bar and nightclub. The design is sophisticated and contemporary with velvet Gubi chairs, brass details, and marble accents, yet evokes a classic Parisian chic feel. Most impressive is a glamourous gleaming brass stairs between the two levels with an oversized lamp leading you towards it. I instantly fell in love with it. The creators of the interior design are Rodolphe Parente Architects.
Lunch at Yeeels
I had my lunch on the outside terrace. I started with a prawn ceviche which was very tasty and spicy. Then I had fish and grilled brocolli as a main. It looks and sounds simple but it was really good. As a dessert I had the lemon cake.
