Hotspot Den Haag: Hofhouse

Hofhouse Den Haag

After Amsterdam now also The Hague has its own food court with the opening of Hofhouse. In a breezy and light space of 1.000 m2 meters and with a chic and sleek design by Rem Koolhaas, The Hague took the concept food hall to the next level. There are 8 different food experiences in an open kitchen style setting, including 2 pop-ups that will change throughout the year. With 350 seats and an outside terrace there's always room for a quick bite. Not enough time to sit down? No problem! All … [Read more...]

Must-see: Hubert de Givenchy: To Audrey with Love exhibition

Givency to Audrey with Love

Being a major Audrey Hepburn fan, I couldn't be more excited about an exhibition than about Hubert de Givenchy: To Audrey with Love. From 26 November 2016 till 26 March 2017, the Gemeente museum The Hague is home to this awe-inspiring showcase. Legendary French couture designer de Givenchy pays tribute to his muze and style icon Audrey Hepburn. The exhibition is a retrospect of his work and was curated in close collaboration with the man himself. He even selected some of his most beloved … [Read more...]

The Hague Favourite: Jamey Bennet

The Hague has a new kid on the block: Kitchen & Bar Jamey Bennet. A few weeks ago I went to check out this new hot spot and I was pleasantly surprised. My verdict? Jamey Bennet is definitely a keeper with its hip interior, great ambiance and delicious food.  On a weekday night the crowd is a mix of expats, 30-50 year-olds, and a few students. The setting is like a living room with an international and brasserie-like vibe. The name Jamey Bennet derives from a British undercover … [Read more...]

The Hague Favourite: Conceptstore Sissy Boy

Conceptstore Sissy Boy has become a household name in the Netherlands. The brand has numerous shops across major cities and smaller shops at train stations. But for international visitors it is an all new and surprising experience. Therefore I decided to feature my favourite Sissy Boy store on the blog today, the one in The Hague. Although they all have a similar set up, I prefer the Sissy Boy in the Hague because of the multiple storeys, making it feel like a small warehouse. At Sissy Boy … [Read more...]

The Hague Favourite: conceptstore LISTed

A few weeks ago I discovered mini conceptstore LISTed. in The Hague. At LISTed you can shop fashion, jewelry, home decor accessories, or you can just stop by for a cup of coffee. And believe me, the coffee is goooood! The clothes are mostly Scandinavian labels like Samsøe Samsøe, Anecdote, Amatør, and Nudie Jeans. There are beautiful scarves from Bufandy made in Peru and super soft. Or try to resist the beautiful lingerie from Love stories! The interior is also very cool with a funny light box … [Read more...]
