Piet Paris exhibition

Piet Paris is considered one of the most important fashion illustrators of the era. His recognizable style can be seen in international magazines and companies all over the world. Paris created illustrations and (window) displays for the American department-store Saks Fifth Avenue as well as the décor for Viktor & Rolf’s fashion show. Paris’ illustrations regularly appear in magazines like Vogue, Elle and W Korea. His work has been included in important books about fashion illustration. [continue after photo]

From May 12 till August 8, you can visit The Chambres of Piet Paris at the Museum of Modern Art in Arnhem. The exhibition  focuses on Paris’ work methods and design process. His archive – Paris has been active in the profession for 25 years – forms the core of the exhibition, which Piet Paris has designed himself. Piet Paris has selected over 75 works that he has produced for magazines and corporate clients all around the globe. There is also plenty of new work on show. Participants in the exhibition include Prada, Marni, Thom Browne, Viktor & Rolf and many others.
