London shopping guide: Jonathan Adler

We continue our shopping itinerary in Chelsea today with the Jonathan Adler store on 60 Sloane Avenue. To interior design lovers, and Americans a well-known name. Jonathan Adler is an American interior design legend, potter, and author.  Jonathan Adler launched his first ceramic collection in 1994 at Barneys New York. Five years later he expanded into home furnishings, opening his first namesake boutique in Manhattan. Today, Jonathan Adler has over 20 stores worldwide.

The brand offers decorative objects, tabletop collections, bedding, bath accessories, gifts, candles, furniture, rugs, pillows, lighting, and most recently handbags. Jonathan’s creativity is fueled by various sources of inspiration: Mid-century modern, art and global pop culture combine to create the signature Adler aesthetic. The Adler style is colourful and joyous with lots of patterns and structures combined. It’s Happy Chic….so just my cup of tea.

  1. I just fell in love with these beautiful, colorful coasters. I think I need to go to London anytime soon (along with 10 suitcases), so many great shops!
