When travelling in the Côte d’Azur, one of the best things is, to have dinner at a seaside restaurant. Nothing beats the experience of dining with a sunset view and a sea breeze, doesn’t it? My hotel, Hôtel L’Orangeraie in La Croix Valmer, was only a 5-minute drive from Plage Gigaro, where a few charming restaurants are lined along the beach. My favourite was Couleur Jardin where I had the most delicious fresh mackerel. The restaurant’s decor is super charming with an outside terrace, and different cozy nooks. The menu is versatile and boasting with delicious French traditional food, as well as Mediterranean dishes. This restaurant gets two thumbs up from me. Reservations are a must, because it is very popular!
