Wow the long weekend flew by, didn’t it?! And setting the clock to day light saving time didn’t help either. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the coldest Easter of all times. My home was boasting with flowers in an array of colours. My dinner table was adorned by the branches with lovely birds as a focal point, and I also had a few smaller magnolia branches decorated with porcelain pendants. I spray-painted my eggs gold, and I made a delicious lunch including:
- sticky chicken
- a grapefruit, avocado and tuna salad
- an asparagus, goat cheese, pancetta, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes frittata
- Pesto soufflés
- mini crab balls with a watercress mayonnaise
- mini salmon fritters
- mashed potatoes with roasted garlic
- and for tea my raspberry cupcakes with fresh raspberry cream frosting
So despite the winter, it was warm and comfy inside and I just love to entertain and host events like these. I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend as well. Here’s a short visual recap:
