Hotel to Heart: Hotel Sezz in Paris

If you’re planning a romantic getaway to Paris for Valentine’s Day, I have just the right hotel for you! Design boutique Hotel Sezz is a perfect city escape to spend some quality time together and fall in love all over again. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the city near the river Seine and famous Bir-Hakeim Bridge where you have a fabulous view on the Eiffel Tower. By metro it is only 2 stops to the Eiffel tower. The interior design exudes a cosmopolitan and Zen-like atmosphere with use of dark greys, black and red as the principal colour scheme. Contemporary sleek furniture sets the tone.IMG_4192IMG_4190IMG_4186

The 26 rooms and suites are leaning towards a masculine style with wide boards of dark wood flooring, covered with deep pile tomato red or mustard tone rugs, and grey stone from Cascais on the wall. Executive swivel chairs and swept chrome stools by Driade sit by brushed teak finish desks, which are inset with steel light fittings. There are different styles rooms but I was appointed a room with full wall peek-a-boo glass screens that look directly from the bedroom onto the stone bathroom. In the bathroom is a Japanese bath tub, which is a large square tub with a range of Aqua di Parma toiletries at your disposal. A complimentary duck adds humor, and a secret erotic drawer built in the bed offers erotic toys to make your stay with your loved one passionate and fun. IMG_4172The hotel also has a spa to relax and unwind after a long day of sight seeing or shopping. In the small restaurant breakfast is served daily where you can even choose to cuddle and have a romantic champagne breakfast in one of the two round booths. I had a lovely stay and would love to go back to this hotel in the near future.IMG_4169IMG_4161IMG_4160

Although this blog post was created in collaboration with Hotel Sezz through a complimentary press stay, I like to reiterate that I only recommend products and places I really like and feel are good for my readers.
