On one of my morning strolls through Athens, I accidentally discovered a great place. Only five minutes by foot from metro station Monastiraki, amidst the central shopping district, you’ll find restaurant and bar Collage (Kapnikareas 3). What caught my eye was the industrial design and edgy interior. I was pleasantly surprised that the food was also excellent. Collage is open all day so you can just have a cup of coffee and breakfast on the outside terrace in the morning, or lunch or dinner later in the day. They serve Mediterranean style dishes, pasta dishes and pizza. Upstairs there is a gallery space with alternating exhibitions. At night the DJ spins funky music and you can sip on the best cocktails. Also check out the restrooms, cause even those are edgy, literally!
