Earlier this week I discovered the newly opened Pistache Café in The Hague, and I love it! It is definitely a new hot spot in my book. A sorbet coloured interior draws you in. Marble tops, fresh flowers, plants, brass details, fluffy pillows, tropical prints and flamingos adorn the space. It’s like you stepped right into a pinterest board or girly instagram account. Even your bill is presented in a lovely way: on a brass pineapple. It’s all in the details.

At Pistache Café you can have breakfast, lunch, coffee and tea, or savoury bites and refreshing drinks in the late afternoon. Think buckwheat pancakes or granola for breakfast, a nice salad for lunch, or cheesecake for tea. It is located right opposite the Palace gardens. There is even an outside terrace, ideally in the late afternoon sun. I tried the sugarless/gluten-free cakes made by Suefood, a latte, and a refreshing glass of Pinky Rose lemonade. All three a big thumb up. And for the shoppers there is also a treat, because Pistache Café also sells cute postcards, candles, and cookbooks. Pistache Café, Prinsenstraat 134, Den Haag
