Haarlem is one of my favourite cities for shopping. The city is packed with small independent stores and cozy lunch rooms and coffee places. Lately a new wave of shops and restaurants has upped the like-ability of Haarlem even more. On my latest shopping spree in Haarlem I fell in love with OU Boutique by Val + Rose, on Kruisstraat 40. This uber hip concept store is the perfect stop for browsing unique gifts, trying on original designs, or getting a vitamin boost at their juice bar.
The interior is also something else with bare brick walls, tropical print wallpaper, and lots of golden touches. I splurged on new moccasins from Fabienne Chapot and an iPhone case from Richmond & Finch. Other brands in store are Nordstjerne, Rabens, Love Stories, Superga, Anniel Pomandere, Feliz, La Lisette, Ivy & Liv, Chloe, Marjan Kuyten, Polder, Amatør, Current/Elliot, Bella Dahl, Selected Femme, Baum und Pferdgarten, Basic Apparel, BA-SH, Masscob, Leon & Harper, Indi&Cold, One Teaspoon and more.
